NAAM YOGA LA is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) global center for spiritual and physical wellness. Our mission is to empower people to improve their lives, heal themselves, and to support them in the process of balancing the Mind Body Spirit connection through the power of community, a variety of classes, a healing clinic, workshops and events, many of which are available free or at low cost.

ONGOING CLASSES (Free for Members / $19 Non-members / excludes morning practice classes)

Morning Practice on Mondays, Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30-8:45am (through June 20th)
Start the day off with your yoga practice to set yourself up for a successful day. These classes include inversions, twists, back bends, and include personalized attention in your postures. Learn how to do the postures correctly. ($25)

Sukshma Vyayama Yoga for Post Workday Relief on Mondays at 7:00-8:15pm (through June 20th)

Naam Yoga Asana Level 1/2 on Friday, June 3rd at 5:00-6:15pm and then Fridays, June 10th and 17th at 5:30-6:45

Sukshma Vyayama Yoga All Levels on Saturdays at 10:30-11:45am

WEEKDAY CLASSES at 2:30-4:30 ($10 for Members / $19 Non-members)

Wednesday, June 1: Back Care
This class will focus on exercises to treat back pain both for those who are hyper flexible and also those with stiffness and pain.

About Yogi Sunil Dahiya of India

Naam Yoga LA and Dr. Joseph Michael Levry are honored to welcome Master Yogi Sunil Dahiya of India! Yogi Sunil is an internationally known Yoga Masters’ Trainer and the national champion of yoga in India. Sunil Dahiya holds many reputed awards including Indian Yoga King by Indian Yoga Federation, Champion of Champions by the government of Pondicherry and University Color in Yoga by University of Delhi. Both Dr. Levry and Yogi Sunil have been fortunate to study under Shri Bal Mukund Singh Ji. They both share the same yogic lineage that can be traced back to Shri Bal Mukund Singh Ji, Dhirendra Brahmachari Ji and Maharishi Karthikeyaji Maharaj.

Shri Bal Mukund Singh Ji is a master teacher that served as the right hand man of Swami Dhirendra Ji, a Royal Master Yogi who studied directly under Maharishi Karthikeyaji Maharaj, a holy man who lived to be over 300 years of age. We are grateful and honored to host Master Yogi Sunil Dahiya, who has been studying yoga’s deeper secrets from Shri Bal Mukund Singh Ji in India for over 11 years, so that the Western world can have a first-hand experience of the principles of Advanced Bahirang System of yoga. The father of yoga Maharishi Patanjali classified yoga practices in two categories: Bahirang Yoga and Antrang Yoga. All visible practices of yoga, including Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama and Pratayahara are Bahirang Yoga, which literally means External Yoga. Antrang Yoga includes the meditation practices of Dharna, Dhyan and Samadhi. These are the Internal Yoga practices. Maharishi Patanjali is the great grandfather of Bahirang yoga and yoga master Sunil Dahiya is the father of the modern scientific form of Bahirang Yoga known as ‘Advanced Bahirang System of Yoga (ABS Yoga).

During Yogi Sunil's visit he will teach the above classes and events at Naam Yoga LA.
